to Glissando's Sailing and Cruising Site!
With the big rebuilding project well behind
us now (we launched in May 2001 following the project), most of our
attention is focused on enjoying the fruits of our labor. Although
work and other commitments mean that we mostly sail locally, our plans
going forward include a number of more extensive cruises and journeys,
which we will fit in whenever we can.
We sail and cruise
mostly in Maine. As of 2008, our home port is Buck's
Harbor, located at the head of Penobscot Bay. Our favorite cruising grounds in Maine begin in
Penobscot Bay and extend eastward to the Canadian border.
