Refit:  Winter 2008-2009

Winter 2008-2009 Refit | Monday, December 15, 2008

After work, I sanded yesterday's primer with 320 grit paper, a straightforward job.  The primer was a bit thinner than I expected, and I went through to the high-build in a few more areas than I would have liked, but not enough to concern me greatly with regards to the final finish.  Maybe 4 coats of finish primer is a better practice.

With the sanding complete, I continued with pre-painting preparations, including a blowdown, solvent-washing the hull, and washing the floor.
